Will you be able to put my site onto Google?

We have studied the search engine "game" for over 6 years and our track record speaks for itself.

The SEO or Search Engine Optimisation work done by many companies has been named various things... "A black art", the "Google dance" and just "too bloody hard." It is indeed not easy and we have been studying the rules of optimisation (optimization) for over 5 years with continued successes. We have achieved many top 10 and even the top 3 placements for a given set of "keywords" in search engines like www.google.com , www.google.com.au and www.yahoo.com.au This takes time and attention to the rules that are applied by these engines (btw, these rules constantly change).

For clients for whom we provided hosting services on a monthly basis, this service is at no additional charge after initial setup, unless a special placement report is required.

Google, Yahoo, Overture and other search engines offer guaranteed paid listings in the Sponsored Links area of these search engines. We can assist you with a carefully planned Pay Per Click marketing programs.

What is your turnaround on designing and developing a new website?

We have produced a simple website within a week of material handover. However, on any project that has a reasonable level of complexity, we prefer to budget at least 4 to 6 weeks for design drafts, client liaison HTML markup, scripting and testing.

What do I need in order to conduct e-commerce on my site?

Netmastery can implement a simple shopping cart for your site, tailored for your type of customer and product. If you do not have a merchant account (i.e. you cannot directly accept credit cards) we can include an interface to third party payment systems such as Paymate or Paypal. We also recommend the inclusion of a PDF or similar order form to allow people to easily order should they not wish to use online ordering facilities.

Netmastery can also implement an online quotation system which can present all products and variants on your site and your customers can build a shopping list for submission to you via your website.

Once the site is up and running, how are updates done?

Netmastery can provide ongoing web maintenance services, charged on a simple hourly fee or if the site is suitable, we can implement a full Web based content management system allowing staff to update the site without any special software and via a special admin screen. Some client choose to use web editing software such as Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit pages of their site.

Client needs differ and in many cases, it is actually more cost-effective that all editing services are outsourced to Netmastery, allowing us to change content carefully and with search engine optimisation in mind at all times.

What is your turnaround on website maintenance work?

Depending on urgency, as little as 1 to 2 hours on simple changes. More details can be found in our page on website maintenance.

You don't seem to offer website packages like a lot of web design companies. Why not?

We don't have any standard pricing packages for either hosting or site design and implementation as we tailor our hosting services, technical programming, design and consulting fees to suit our customers unique requirements and budget. Many companies provide these "package deals" but this has never worked for us or our clients as no company can be easily slotted into any particular package, based on irrelevant measures such as number of pages, number of images, and so on, and in one case I have seen number of word. If a package only allows say 5 pages for less than x dollars, this may prevent you from presenting your products and services correctly and it is better not to think in these terms.
